Hi! My name is Olga. I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Universidad de La Laguna. I did my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona. Soon after I started my PhD under the supervision of Tryphon Georgiou at the University of California in Irvine, where I was also a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2023 I received the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship to continue my research at the Universidad de La Laguna in Spain.My research so far has focused on the intersection between control theory and stochastic thermodynamics. In particular, I have studied how Optimal Mass Transport techniques can be applied to thermodynamic systems subject to anisotropic temperature fields. You can read about it in my new book! I am now venturing into the obscure and exciting world of quantum physics to study quantum measurement, time-symmetry, quantum optimal transport, and quantum thermodynamics.
